For each project, we tailor a programme that addresses the specific conditions of each site and budget while recognizing the vision of each client’s approach to public art.
We are currently working on, or have completed several, exciting, high-profile Section 37 related projects for clients including: RioCan REIT, Ivanhoe Cambridge/Hines, Metropia, Tridel, Cityzen Developments, Lifetime Developments, Freed Developments, CD Capital Developments, Canderel, Malibu Investments, The Distillery District, CentreCourt Developments, BUILD Toronto and Options for Homes.
Public Transit & Infrastructure
We are currently working on the delivery component of the public art programme for the Gordie Howe International Bridge, spanning between Windsor and Detroit.
We recently concluded our work on the implementation of Stage 2 of the public art programme for the City of Ottawa’s Confederation Line Light Rail Transit project, after completing the development and planning of a comprehensive public art plan for Stage 1 where we worked collaboratively with the architecture, landscape and engineering teams.
We were public art consultants for for the Toronto Transit Commission overseeing all public art projects related to new construction. Completed projects include the six new subway stations of the TYSSE expansion, improvements to Union Station, Victoria Park, Pape and Dufferin Stations as well as a multi-agency public art master plan for the Ashbridges Bay Streetcar Facility.
We are pleased to have consulted on Mississauga’s Bus Rapid Transit project, recently completed construction.
Urban Design
We are proud to have garnered several urban design awards for our creative works and are honoured to have participated on the inaugural design review panels for the City of Vaughan and Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray).
We bring this experience in public space design, specifically pertaining to public art, to several completed and current projects including: South Yonge Corridor Streetreetscape Masterplan, Hurontario/Mainstreet LRT Preliminary Design, Lawrence/Allen Public Realm Revitilization Master Plan, Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Streetscape and Open Space Plan, Sheppard Allen Public Art Master Plan and the Sheppard Avenue Streetscape Masterplan.
